Beautiful city
Százhalombatta celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2020. This small town has undergone a huge transformation over the last half century, growing from a grey industrial town to a lovable, safe and liveable town with lots of green spaces and flowers. Százhalombatta has a high quality cultural life. One of the most popular places for excursions in Batta is the Archaeological Park, which is part of the 'Matrica' Museum and is known for its fish graves. It is a pleasant place for an afternoon stroll, with a barefoot path, picnic tables and regular family activities. The award-winning main square - with its chimes and the Wonder Horn ornament - the Rubik's Cube square, the Catholic church designed by Imre Makovecz, the Reformed church designed by József Finta and the iconostasis of the Serbian church in the old town are also a faithful reflection of the town's development. The Danube shore, the lake and the boathouse are also popular with visitors, providing a cosy, natural setting for gatherings of friends and family alike. You could say that they form an 'island of tranquillity' in the hustle and bustle of the city.

Budapest can be reached by car in 30 minutes on the main road 6. From our renovated train station it is a 40-minute journey to the Southern Railway Station with hourly departures. The city centre can also be easily reached by bus in 40 minutes.

Health tourism - Salt cave
The special salt therapy is mainly beneficial for asthma, chronic bronchitis and allergies caused by pollen.
